Frequently Asked Questions

To request inpatient treatment, you must contact your health insurance provider (social security, private insurance, or workers’ compensation). Inform them of your interest in receiving care at Santa Catalina. If your provider determines that your case meets the criteria for rehabilitation treatment at our facilities, they will contact us directly.

At this time, we do not offer private admissions. We only accept patients through health insurance providers or prepaid medical plans.

All our facilities offer the same high standards of care and treatment.
The assignment to a specific center depends on the patient’s medical condition and current bed availability.

For outpatient services, you must contact your health insurance provider (social security, private insurance, or workers’ compensation) and express your interest in receiving treatment at Santa Catalina. If the provider deems it appropriate, they will get in touch with us.

Although visiting hours are officially from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. every day, to avoid disrupting the patients’ therapeutic routines, we strongly recommend visiting between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. or between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

The delivery of packages or bags is subject to institutional security protocols.

The following items are not permitted within the facility:
Any type of food or beverages
Flowers or plants (natural or artificial)
Animals
Flammable or toxic substances (e.g., alcohol, glue, aerosols, poisons)

We have centers in the Balvanera, Núñez, and Pilar areas.

For patients able to eat orally, participating in mealtimes significantly contributes to their recovery and supports social integration, which is essential to the rehabilitation process.

Family members and caregivers are welcome to assist during meal times at the following hours:

Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Afternoon snack: 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Dinner: 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

All patient rooms are shared, with a maximum of two patients per room.
Each room includes a personal locker and a numbered storage basket for each patient’s belongings and personal items.
